Singapore-based ITE Technology Institute and the Professional Education Service Skills Network signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Salpaus Further Education on 12.09.2018. The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen mobility and the development of education and training between Singapore and Finnish VET. In Finland, the network consists of five Vet-providers those being Ekami, KSAO, TAI and Winnova in addition to Salpaus.
During the event, ITE's CEO Low Khah Gek was pleased about the mobilities of students and staff between Singapore and Finland and opted for increasing cooperation in the development of VET. The delegation also included Ms. Sabrina Loi the Deputy Managing Director (Enterprise Co-operation), PHd. Ang Kiam Wee the Dean of (ITE College Central), and Phd, Yek Tiew Ming the Dean of (ITE College East).
The first exchange students from Singapore have arrived to Finland on 16.9.2018 and the Finnish students and staff will be in Singapore on an exchange this November.
